Vector Security

I developed this custom, personalized PowerPoint to enhance the way sales quotes were presented to customers during my time at Vector Security. Prior to this, we relied on a basic one-to-two page Word document which made the job difficult because it was extremely text-heavy, very impersonal, and lacking visual appeal.

Recognizing this need for a more engaging and customer-centric approach, I designed this presentation with the goal of bringing clarity, structure, and visual impact to my quoting process. This allowed for a more confident delivery with an engaging conversation resulting in increased sales, better customer engagement, and stronger brand impression. I personally had multiple customers personally tell me that they were choosing to work with Vector, even when we weren’t the cheapest option, specifically because this presentation made them feel seen, heard, and valued. That feedback validated my design approach as well as the level of care I had put into my work, and also enabled management to redesign the quoting process across all sales teams.

While I only have a PDF copy of the final deck (which was automated to send in a post-meeting follow-up e-mail thanking them for their time), I’ve highlighted the key features and included along with a visual walkthrough of each slide to showcase the personalized design.

Throughout the Presentation:

Using the customer’s name to create an added layer of connection
Using only photos of the customer’s business (or products being quoted if necessary)
Consistent branding in typography and color
Designs that emphasize the Vector Security logo and fill negative space without crowding
Tasteful transitions and animations that enhance without overshadowing:
some transitions to add cohesiveness while continuing to the next slide
a flash of bold to emphasize certain parts of the message
sections of text fading in and out to control the speed of the conversation

Slide 1: A cover page showcasing a photo of the customer’s business with the business’s name and address
Slide 2: A personalized note thanking them for their time and consideration
Slide 3: A brief overview with some fun facts about Vector as a company – to start a high-level discussion
Slide 4: An overview of the additional benefits that come with being a Vector customer – to steer the conversation in towards the current opportunity.
Slide 5: A note on the 4 categories that Vector offers security for – to transition entirely to their current (and potential future) needs.
Slide 6: An entirely customized “Concerns” page to recap our conversations, ensure I understood their needs correctly, and make them feel heard.
Slides 7 & 9: Title slides to separate opportunities (different locations, services, etc)
Slides 8 & 10: My solution for their security needs including all pricing, equipment, services, and next steps
Slide 11: A quote summary for everything we’ve discussed, including totals
Slides 12 & 13: All the “fine print” and what they can expect as we proceed
Slide 14: An additional “Thank You” with my contact information and a verbal call-to-action
